Delta Sigma Phi was founded in 1899 at the City College of New York by a group of Christian and Jewish undergraduates who were, at the time, not accepted by any of the other fraternities on campus. The Fraternity was to be based on the concept of creating a universal brotherhood of young college men.
Locally, Delta Sigma Phi became a part of Greek life at MSOE January 22, 1987. Delta Sigma Phi strives to bring out the better man in each of its members, both locally and nationally. Locally, we strive to have the highest GPA of all the organizations on campus. Our rigorous academic program helps students who need help in classes, whether or not they realize it. We have a strong base in MSOE intramural sports, participating in as many events as we can every term.
